Technical Support Engineer

Fujirebio Diagnostics, Inc., located in Malvern, PA, is a world leader in the production of in-vitro diagnostics, setting the worldwide gold standard for the manufacturing in biomarkers.

We have an immediate opening for a Technical Support Engineer who will be responsible for fully supporting manufacturing process throughout the production areas. 

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting of immunoassay manufacturing problems and reporting of results both verbally and in written reports/summaries
  • Perform investigations of technical customer complaints including the generation of an investigation plan, experimental design, data and root cause analysis and technical report writing
  • Performs approved improvements to manufacturing processes by demonstrating concept feasibility and completing with full validation and implementation
  • Performance and documentation of scale up studies
  • Will set-up and monitor trending and process control chars (SPC).

Qualified individuals will have B.S. or M.S. in the biological or chemical sciences with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the diagnostics or pharmaceutical industries; knowledge and work experience in antibody conjugation, scale-up, quality control and/or manufacturing; immunoassay development and manufacturing experience including technical problem-solving skills is necessary; excellent technical skills required; understanding of protein chemistry and common analytical instrumentation including HPLC, spectrophotometry and electrophoretic equipment; ability to write clear, concise grammatically correct technical reports and summaries of investigations is essential; excellent attendance required.
